WHAT WE DO

At SISMO, we handle the entire sound post-production pipeline for audiovisual projects. From early collaboration with directors to the final theatrical mix, we cover sound design, dialogue editing, ambience and fx editing, Foley, and ADR.

We approach Foley as an integral part of the film’s overall sound design. We focus not just on what actions need sound, but on what materiality, weight and intention each sound should carry. In the recording stage, concepts like, perspective, focus, and rhythm guide our work. Later, during editing and pre-mix, each element is fine-tuned to integrate seamlessly with the rest of the soundtrack. We believe understanding how Foley lives and breathes inside the full mix is essential to creating a cohesive, impactful film soundscape.

We have developed a workflow and sonic aesthetic that allow us to deliver highly detailed, precise, and consistent Foley with a fast and efficient turnaround, while staying flexible to the artistic goals and needs of each project. Our team brings years of experience working with international clients across a wide range of formats — from genre to experimental, from industrial to independent projects.
