Lautaro Zamaro

Foley Mixer, Sound designer

I’ve been involved in filmmaking since 2009. I graduated as an Audiovisual Filmmaker from EPCTV in Rosario in 2011, and later as a Sound Director from ENERC in 2017.

Since I was a child, I’ve had a strong connection to both music and film, which is probably why, when I began studying, it didn’t take long for me to realize that sound would be my place. It’s a language where many of my passions intersect to create something new and personal—with the added bonus that the final step is hearing your work in a space as special as a movie theater.

My first experiences were designing ambiences and effects. Then I started editing dialogue, and over time I became increasingly involved in the world of Foley. I enjoy being part of every stage of post-production and learning how the different areas are interconnected—how the work in one affects the others and the final result.

I also believe that what makes this profession truly unique is its collaborative nature. Thanks to that, I’ve been able to learn from many talented colleagues—and that’s the path I continue to follow.
